TRC is growing tremendously and seeking a Director of Sales, Pipeline Integrity & Engineering Services to join our Pipeline Integrity and Engineering Services team in Houston, TX to help drive sales in key strategic accounts.

The position requires strong business development, client service, and technical experience, ideally with a background in Pipeline Integrity and Engineering services. The position also requires a solid reputation in the oil and gas industry to support the building and maintaining of important client relationships.

This position is 100% remote and can work anywhere in the United States or work out of any of our 150 locations nationwide.


  • Sales associated with pipeline integrity management, pipeline safety regulatory compliance, and engineering.
  • Cold calls and new account development
  • Online and in-person sales meetings
  • Partnership with technical teams to achieve sales objectives
  • Cost estimate and proposal support for technical teams
  • Updating of CRM
  • Support development of Team campaigns and other marketing efforts
  • Support development of marketing collateral and web content
  • Trade show and conference coordination and attendance


  • BS/BA degree
  • 8-10+ years of relevant experience in in professional services sales
  • Personable, with very strong communication skills, and possess the desire to lead an aggressive business expansion in a fast paced and dynamic market
  • Possess pipeline industry contacts with excellent relationships with clients
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and business professionals and management
  • Expert in deal origination, sales process, solution shaping and contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated experience with strong partnerships and advocacy with customers
  • Excellent presentation, whiteboarding, and negotiation skills including good listening, probing, and qualification abilities
  • Demonstrated understanding and mitigation of competitive threats
  • Highly motivated team player with a mature, positive attitude and passion to meet the challenges and opportunities of a business
  • Successful track record of leading sales initiatives to exceed revenue targets
  • Strong creativity and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to grow and maintain relationship with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personality
  • Strong detail-orientation and top-level self-organization
