Full-timeThe role of a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Insgroup is to continuously for new opportunities to engage with. Once a prospect has been determined, the BDR will initiate a smooth handoff of the lead to a Qualified Producer (Account Manager). Leads will be targeted though digital campaigns, events and overall networking.
Based on the nature of the position, Insgroup will be looking for fast paced/energetic individuals who have a decent understanding of technology. Based on the “ing” nature of the role, Insgroup will be looking for candidates that are motivated to grow within the company.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Quarterly KPI’s will be implemented to build transparency around performance metrics and growth
opportunity at Insgroup: 200 Touch Points a Week (Email Campaigns, Phone Calls, Meetings/Webinars, Events
- Monthly New Prospect Meeting Goals : 15-20 per month
- Utilization of 3rd Party Technology to Qualify, Automate and Record leads: ZoomInfo - Prospecting and Lead Optics , Mass Lead Pulls, Websights, Insights, PureChat, Website Lead Communication, Pardot, Mass Lead Email Campaigns, Salesforce
- Lead Management
- Transfer leads to Producer
- Cadence Management for Targeted Prospects
- Landing Page and Forms - Partnership with Marketing
- Develop service and market specific landing pages and forms to push out in targeted campaigns
- Targeted Lead Generation - Producer One on One Support
- Support each producer by pulling market specific leads from ZoomInfo and launching highly targeted campaigns to generate leads. These would be smaller campaigns (between 100-200 prospects) that would consist of leads that are already actively looking for Insurance Services based on information gathered by MiEdge, Websights and Insights.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills as well as interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and internet based media.
- Work independently and as a member of a highly cohesive team.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be well organized with demonstrated effective time-management and computer skills.
