Full-timeWe are a family owned furniture retail store that sells furniture and accessories for the home. We are looking for a high energy, knowledgeable Receiving Manager to oversee the day to day activities of our back room receiving operations. This function includes receiving furniture, reconciling received items to purchase orders, creating price tags, and assisting with placing items on the sales floor. In addition:
- Receive supplies, furniture and accessories, assist in unloading trucks and inspecting for damages
- Maintain physical condition of storage locations including mobile minis and climate controlled facilities
- Issuing work orders for repair and replacement of case goods and furniture
- Monitor inventory levels by conducting yearly inventories and reconciling data with information in computerized systems
- Knowledge of Lightspeed Computer Systems is a plus
If you don't have all the requisite skills or comparable background, we can train you in our systems and processes. All we ask is that you want to work, you want to learn, and are comfortable working around people and customers. Your compensation will be a function of how closely your work history matches our job requirements.
- Bilingual - English/Spanish is a plus
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to work cooperatively in a team environment, including interface with sales representatives
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
