Full-timeMajor Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a basic technical knowledge of the insurance industry and its products/services.
- Assist with insurance renewal/procurement (Annual & Ad Hoc) and management of corporate insurance programs (Casualty, Property, Windstorm, Professional, and Worker’s Comp).
- Assist in the procurement of insurance for acquisitions and development projects.
- Track and coordinate the timely and accurate issuance of Certificates of Insurance.
- Assist in the management of claims on all insurance lines from initial reporting to completion, including Worker’s Compensation claims (point of contact for employees and insurance carriers).
- Compile and prepare a monthly claims and litigation report.
- Assist the corporate Risk Manager in the administration of risk management due diligence and day-to-day account service, such as incident reports, insurance policy review, premium amortization and cost allocation, processing invoices and claim reimbursements, and reviewing audits.
- Other projects as assigned based on business needs.

Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of related corporate experience in Risk Management and Commercial Insurance required.
- Undergraduate degree preferred, but not required
- General knowledge of insurance policies and best practices relating to risk management.
- A highly motivated, detailed oriented, well-organized professional with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with 3rd parties and internal stakeholders within all levels of the organization.
- A self-starter, with the ability to maintain a high level of productivity, accuracy and commitment to quality with minimal supervision.
- Organizational, negotiating, planning and analytical skills.
- Advanced Computer Skills including high level of proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.

Must be able to sit for up to 50% of the workday.
The job tasks are performed in an office environment with moderate environmental conditions present, such as temperature, noise levels, etc.
