How You'll Make Your Mark:
HPE is looking for a Production Manager to join our Digital & Creative Services Team, within Global Communications. This individual will work closely with the Head of Production, Sr. Manager, Creative Services and Content Producers to help manage creative projects including video productions, animations, graphic design, webcasts and live events. Responsibilities include meeting with internal clients to understand project scope, goals, and deadline; working with Producers to scope resources and build proposals; coordinating production crews and communicating call sheets; helping Producers manage timelines and approvals; assisting with monthly and quarterly accounting for the department, including generating reports; advising Production Coordinators in management of daily project triage, assignments and schedule management.
The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and diplomatic, with a passion for client service, operational excellence and creative quality. Deep experience and understanding of production cycles for video, live event, webcast, design and animation is desired.
Responsibilities
Manage the intake process for Creative Services and facilitate client meetings to understand project goals, requirements, budgets and deadlines.
Identify team members needed for consultation and input, coordinate production crews, schedule and facilitate production team meetings, and help manage timelines.
Monitor deliverables and client relationships, clearly communicating at all levels to illuminate opportunities and risks.
Work in partnership with Producers to assure that resources are in place, production workflow is on track and budgets are in scope.
Identify and break down roadblocks in process by proactively seeking solutions. Continually optimize workflow and identify efficiencies, to maximize resources and effectiveness.
Coordinate and supervise the process of managing media assets with Production Coordinators to catalog and store creative project files.
Serve as knowledgeable resource of media library.
Support the department’s monthly and quarterly production account closing and supervise the activity reports that create the monthly impact report.
Support in the management of daily production triage for full production slate.
About You:
Background in video, webcast, live event, design and animation Production Management including producing experience, preferably including creative project management
Experience managing multiple projects at once with organizational skill and attention to detail.
Experience working closely with business partners to collaborate on projects with the ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization.
Experience working with and enabling creative talent, including editors, animators, designers, producers, coordinators and talent.
Strong video and production management experience in a creative services department.
Deep understanding of budgeting a variety of creative projects.
Ability to support producers in script writing and overall creative and production support.
