CNC Machine Shop Estimator & Quote Specialist

The Estimator is responsible for communicating with customers & vendors and providing information and requirements into a manufacturing plan while determining price and lead time for the product. Prepare formal price and delivery quotations for internal and external customers. Visual Manufacturing Software a plus.

Located between FM 290 & Beltway 8

• Communicate quote status to customers as needed
• Must assist in pricing negotiations and pricing
• Identify and establish target pricing levels for standard materials
• Gather information on the scope of work and requirements necessary for potential machine shop work.
• Determine manufacturing steps/processes, equipment requirements, programming requirements, set up operations, material, labor, and other items necessary to perform work.
• Calculate production costs using established labor and overhead rates, raw material and processing price estimates.
• 6+ years of Machine Shop Estimating/Quoting experience of medium to high complexity parts, including knowledge of setup and operation of a diverse range of machines. Estimating/Quoting experience must be with CNC Mill and Lathe operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• CNC Machine Shop Quoting: 5 years (Preferred)
• CNC Machine Shop Estimating: 5 years (Preferred)
• MS Office Knowledge: 5 years (Preferred)
