Job Responsibilities:

  • QuickBooks for Clients and possibly our firm;
  • Knowledge of fereral and state tax return preparation
  • Time managment and strong organization skills;
  • Prepare client invoices and collect on past-due accounts;
  • Meet and greet clients;
  • Support management and staff on project based work;
  • Collection, skip tracing, and monitoring the collection of lawsuits;
  • Minor tax law research;
  • Assist outside attorney with filing of lawsuits and preparation of legal documents;
  • Filing and other as-needed tasks;
  • Answer incoming calls;
  • Report information to credit bureau;
  • Aid in designing company's newsletters; and
  • Aid, if necessary, in maintaining our webpage.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of administrative/clerical experience;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and grammar skills;
  • Time-management skills and the ability to multi-task;
  • You MUST be able to organized well;
  • Must be proficient using QuickBooks, MS Office and Windows Files Explorer;
  • Ability to learn new software;
  • Minimun Associatge degree;
  • Ability to speak spanish is a plus;
  • Proficiency in Timeslips and/or Ecco Pro is a plus;
  • Keyboard requirement – minimum 55 words per minute;
  • Ten Key – by touch minimum 11,000 Keystrokes per Hour;
  • Company policy requires all applicants to test for basic computer, grammar & 10 key skills, and for some bookkeeping skills; and
  • Company may perform a background check on applicant.
