The position
By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:
Support our operations and commercial activities in contractual negotiation process with our customers worldwide. The Contract Administrator main task is the preparation, drafting and negotiation of contracts and documentation related to purchase and sale transactions for hydrocarbons, including booking storage capacity, waterborne/pipeline/rail transportation and related service agreements, all in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
The work is conducted in a fast-paced and dynamic commercial environment with strict, time sensitive deadlines.
Furthermore, the Contract Administrator tasks are:

Provide advice, coordinate and liaise on contractual matters with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including providing specialist support to address issues with broad based business impact

Ensure all MMP contract activities are completed in accordance with Equinor's Business Processes, legal and tax requirements and adhere to Equinor’s corporate requirements and internal and external authorities

Develop and implement improvements to enhance the Contracts Department deliveries

Daily filing of confirmation/contract documents into document retention systems

Participate in further development of guidelines, systems and routines within the area of responsibility
You

- 5-7 years of experience

Excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills

Experience with O&G General Terms and Conditions, waterborne operations, logistics, maritime and shipping terms, including vessel and barge charteparties

Excellent communication, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills

Able to cope with multiple tasks and demands at one time

Attentive to detail without losing the ability to maintain a holistic view of all ongoing activities
