Python Developer for Analytics platform

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop automated reports and data pipelines in Python

• Responsible for automating routine processes and reports in order to improve data analysis
• Abstract, refactor, and package reusable code for broad use

• Develop test suites to ensure code works as planned and enable fast edits as business requirements change

• Deep proficiency in programming with Python
• Test and development experience
• Monitoring systems and data pipelines

• Ability to design Python software from scratch
• Ability to develop and implement automation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working independently or on a team

• Proven track record of problem solving skills
• Python: 2 years minimum (Required) and SQL

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Systems preferred
