Summary: This position is responsible for schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Manage large projects alongside Production Managers.
• Communication focal point between Agar and the Customer as well as Production and Engineering team.
• Evaluate customer specifications and advise production.
• Address customers concerns.
• Generate project documentation and schedules.
• Ensure detailed designs meet core customer requirements.
• Provide a technical requirement to enable the company to provide a comprehensive technical and commercial quote.
• Perform testing of new applications.
• Assist with the creation of functional specifications, documents, manuals, and training material.
• Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of machine fabricated parts and a thorough understanding of standard flanges, valves, pipes and fittings, and material specifications.

Versatile engineering knowledge of material and standards related to the gas and oil industry.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software; Design software; Internet software and Project Management software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
