At Fueling Brains, we are currently looking for a Assistant Mechanical Engineer who will be working closely with the Senior Manager of our Product Design Department at our newly established Educational toy factory.

As a member of the product development and manufacturing team, the Assistant Engineering will lead the manufacturing and production of products for Fueling Brains. This will include planning, setting up and operationalizing a manufacturing facility for fueling Brains product manufacturing and providing input on product designs regarding manufacturability, durability and safety.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in planning layout and design of the product manufacturing facility in the Houston area.
  • Assist in research and implementation of new processes, including business registration, identification and procurement of relevant machinery and tools
  • Coordinate and ensure compliance of safety inspections for manufacturing.
  • Assist in installation and maintenance of machinery for the facility.
  • Maintain inventory and pricing of individual components and finished goods.
  • Development and implementation of timelines for production and product delivery.
  • Assist in Coordinating the shipping of finished goods to customers.
  • Hiring and training of required human resources for skilled and unskilled jobs.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant field.

Experience/Required Skills

  • Minimum 4-5 years of Experience in planning, layout and designing of manufacturing units.
  • Experience in product manufacturing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant US Safety protocols is a must.
  • Must have ability to utilize relevant computer technology to analyze tabular data, maintain records, and generate reports
