The Scientist Quality Analysis will ensure the Products and Services are meeting the company's Quality requirements in addition to meeting with the Customers' and Regulatory requirements for Quality, Reliability and Safety. Has a deep knowledge of industry standards and governmental regulations for product quality.

You will be a subject matter expert for AM & UOP business from quality perspective and will drive and manage all Root cause analysis across both business from Quality team’s perspective. This role will also work very closely with respective R&D, Product Stewardship, and manufacturing teams to ensure the products are produced as per the specifications and are in compliance with all regulatory claims and specifications. This is a very critical role for quality and should be hands on with laboratory verifications. This role will work closely with Business and customers to ensure the issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for Development, Implementation and strict adherence to the Quality Standards and accepts the responsibility for products being in compliance with Regulatory, Customer specifications and company standards
Receives and reviews all customer complaints, complaint trends and product / process failure analysis and develops
Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with appropriate teams
Reviews and resolves Quality issues / concerns with Site Quality Managers and others, including Manufacturing, vendors, customers and with related functions.
Manage all communication with business partners and senior management to achieve all project objectives and perform tests on same
Lead product quality risk management process and ensure right root causes and mitigation strategies are in place
Provide expertise in critical quality areas of processes, Chemistry, Packaging, Regulatory and validations
Maintain knowledge of all Quality systems and process standards and provide training to staff for same and evaluate all procedures to ensure adherence to all guidelines.
Troubleshoot Quality issues in the manufacturing and packaging processes and perform Root Cause Analysis as necessary
Good interpersonal, problem solving, and planning/organization skills, strategic thinking and customer focused.
A collaborative style with ability to interact and influence many teams to reach their goals .A strong team-player with passion to improve the product quality - Organized and self-motivated
Good analytical skills to gather and interpret technical information, develop, recommend and implement solutions
Ability to deal with complex quality analysis - Comfortable working in an extremely dynamic environment. A change leader who is highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
5+ years’ experience in areas mentioned below:
  • Quality function of Chemical / API /Intermediates manufacturing
  • Proficient in ERP operating environment and LIMS
  • Working knowledge in SPC / Six sigma
