Tenure trackThe University of Houston seeks an Assistant Professor (tenure track) for the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture & Design. The Assistant Professor will teach two classes per semester on the History and Theory of Architecture and Urbanism with a global focus from 1800 to present that includes graduate/undergraduate lecture courses & seminars. Maintain active publication & research agenda. Demonstrate broad understanding of history and theory of design disciplines and strong scholarship. Participate in expansion of the history/theory program through new course offerings & revisions to existing courses plus transform curriculum at undergraduate & graduate levels.
