Overview

Architectural CAD drafter / 3D modeler needed for residential design firm. Qualified candidate must be proficient in AutoCad and 3D modeling / visualization software. The ideal candidate would have experience with SketchUp and Lumion. Efficiency in Revit is a big positive. Primary responsibility will be to produce construction documents from designers floor plans and rough SketchUp model as well as enhancing / building 3D models and creating 3D visualizations. An exciting new facet of Design DCA is creating fantasy developments in the metaverse. Assuming continued success of this venture, chosen candidate would also work with the owner/designer in creating models and visualizations for these projects and clients.

Responsibilities

• Construction Documents
• 3D Renderings
• Conference calls and meetings with clients, engineers, vendors, and general contractors
• Firm representation at networking events

Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3d rendering/visualization software, and Revit
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to multitask and balance multiple projects

Work Experience

• 1-3 years minimum of relevant work experience

Education

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Architecture / Drafting or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
