POSITION SUMMARY: The role of a project manager entails management of all project activities covering a range of scopes that include procurement, preparation of work plan, managing project scope, budget, and schedule, supervising project teams, construction and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of industrial project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management desired. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Petroleum and / or civil construction experience desired.
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive while recognizing and supporting the organization's preferences and priorities.
- Individual must be flexible and able to travel as needed.
- Proficient with MS Office, MS Project and Outlook. Procore & Timberline experience is a plus.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess strong computer skills.
- Strong managerial skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The ability to focus and perform detailed estimating and paperwork tasks for long durations of time. Sitting and standing in an office environment. The ability to walk large job site and buildings at every phase of construction. Traversing rough terrain can be expected while on the job site.
