The Trainer Specialist is responsible for all resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair, and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.


As a Trainer Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering product, system, and process trainings and providing ongoing support to ensure the standard and quality of field service execution.
  • Working together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities, and giving explanations on technical issues.
  • Handling standardized project processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Some latitude in ways of working and planning.
  • Handling targeted clients. Working on predefined contracts and frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from those conditions.
  • Contributing to the development of an operational year plan for own department activities of the team.
  • Providing improvements in products, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.


Fuel your passion


To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services).
  • Knowledge of rotating machinery operation and monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge or experience with AT LEAST one or more of the following: Systems and Instrumentation, mechanical vibration, rotating machinery vibration and/or diagnostics, rotor-dynamic analysis, PdM data acquisition/evaluation, machinery balancing and alignment.
  • Have mechanical trouble shooting skills. "Hands-on approach".
  • Supporting services with conducting field work.
