Senior Web Analytics Engineer

The mission of the Corel Analytics team is to leverage data to find insights that empower the Executive Leadership Team to make smart decisions and to optimize eCommerce and Channel sales operations across the 25+ brands under Corel Corporation.

As a Senior Web Analytics Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web and user tracking across all our portfolio of global web and app properties using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Cloud Platform, Google Optimize and others.

As the Senior Web Analytics Engineer, your role will focus on:

  • Being our Google Marketing Platform Expert (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, Google Data Studio among others).
  • Leading and be the architect of our technical vision for web analytics implementation, testing, and reporting across our portfolio of global web properties and eCommerce platforms.
  • Working with key stakeholders to collect, interpret and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Developing, maintaining, and testing tracking technologies, pixels, cookies, and integrations with 3rd party advertising platforms.

As a key contributor to our analytics accruement, this role will also:

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for stakeholders including updating our GTM tags, Google Analytics properties (View, Filters, Custom Dimensions/Metrics and Report)
  • Setup and monitor AB tests using Google Optimize.
  • Develop, prototype, and iterate reports and dashboards to meet business requirements using tools such as tableau and google data studio.
  • Perform platform administration functions using the Google Marketing Platform.
  • Work with internal development teams to bridge first-party data with analytics and advertising platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience leading digital analytics platform deployments; preferably Google Analytics (Universal and GA4).
  • Hands-on experience working with the Google Analytics measurement protocol and the Google Analytics Reporting API is a must.
  • Experience designing and implementing sophisticated architectures via GTM, able to implement solutions using GTM web and Server-Side containers as well as creating custom GTM templates.
  • Solid and strong experience with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and computer programming is a must.
  • Solid experience using Tableau and Google Data Studio.
  • Experience in Big Query. Capable of writing queries to get insight from the Google Analytics Raw Data.
  • Desirable experience in python programming implementing cloud functions in the google cloud platform.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
  • Experience working in agile environment such Scrum/Kanban and able to write user stories using Jira.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/responsibilities.
  • Ability to QA and test tagging; preferred ability to create automated QA and testing solutions.
  • Bachelor or Graduate degree in Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Research, Information Systems, Engineering or Business.
