Applications accepted from: All Persons InterestedDivision: Client RelationsPosting#: 27456Reporting Location: Various Locations* **This is not a remote position***Workdays & Hours: MONDAY – FRIDAY 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM* *Subject to Change DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe Senior Human Resources Generalist (SHRG) will work collaboratively within the Human Resources Client Relations Division as a business partner and point of contact to provide superior human resources services to our clients. The SHRG will provide: Professional human resources support to develop, select and retain qualified employees in compliance with applicable policies and procedures and fair employment statutes. Works with department managers/supervisors and other human resources staff in all recruiting efforts/activities.Coordinates advertisements, social media, marketing and talent sourcing, to assist in recruiting efforts.Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications for the job prior to referring to hiring managers.Provide staffing status reports to Client Departments Completes annual budget reconciliationsParticipates in special projects Performs a variety of professional HR work in support of the departments. Consults with other HR teams in anticipating and responding to the department's HR needs.Performs other duties as assigned WORKING CONDITIONSThis position is physically comfortable; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc. There are no major sources of discomfort in a normal office environment.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSRequires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Science, Liberal Arts or a closely related field. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSThree years of related professional experience in human resources are required. Pertinent experience at the professional level may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basisLICENSE REQUIREMENTSNone

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The preferred candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in recruiting. Will have advanced Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, & Excel) skills. Should have working knowledge of SAP HR. Must demonstrate leadership potential, be customer focused, and possess excellent problem solving, organizational, communication and people skills. Working knowledge of NeoGov is also preferred.**Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants provided such persons possess the qualifications necessary for competent discharge of the duties involved in the position applied for, such persons are among the most qualified candidates for the position, and all other factors in accordance with Executive Order 1-6.**
