Summary:

BGE is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in the Houston office as a PLA Group

Coordinator. This individual will provide support to PLA Group senior staff and assist with

administrative and project related duties.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or design related field

Experience:

· 0 - 3 years

Qualifications:

· Excellent organizational skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work individually and collaboratively without close supervision

· Understanding of A/E industry terminology, standards, and procedures

· Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and principles

· Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail, accuracy, and

· high-quality standards

· Advanced Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat software skills

· Experience with Adobe InDesign highly desirable

· Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D highly desirable

Responsibilities:

Administrative

· Meeting coordination

· Monitor and order office supplies

· Order lunch for office meetings, as needed

· Assist with senior staff travel arrangements

· Manage mail, courier, and overnight deliveries

· Maintain conference room and monitor scheduling

· Assist with new employee set-up and orientation

· Prepare general correspondence and documentation materials

· Coordinate new project setup and file organization

· Help maintain client contact database

· Assist with administrative and project file maintenance

· Assist in planning and coordinating company/group events

Accounting

· Assist with financial forecasts and budgets

· Manage digital billing files

· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable

· Assist with expense reports/reconciliation of credit card expenses

Marketing/Business Development

· Maintain organization memberships

· Assist with marketing/business development event planning

· Assist with creation and management of marketing collateral and project images

· Assist with preparation of presentations

· Coordinate Holiday client gifts

· Assist with the preparation of award applications

· Provide graphics/writing assistance to the design and planning staff as needed

· Assist with the creation of responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs)

Project Related

· Assist with preparation of contract agreements and amendments

· Coordinate client meetings

· Assist with project administration in project management and billing software

· Assist with/conduct project research

· Assist with maintenance of project files

· Assist with project pay applications

· Maintain agenda database

· Maintain plat tracking database

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
