IMMEDIATE NEED FOR Accounting Assistant Full Time
We are one of the largest commercial printers in Houston. SWPP serves an impressive list of local, regional, national, global and fortune 500 clientele.

Southwest Precision Printers (SWPP) dba- 1Vision, has an immediate need for a Accounting Assistant. This will be a full-time non-exempt position, with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some overtime and weekends required.

Duties & Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable:

· Contact customers for collections as well as sending out collection letters and statements

· Performing background checks on new customers

· Filling out new customer forms

· Assisting with cash receipts

· Other responsibilities as requested

Accounts Payable:

· Reviewing statements from vendors each month

· Assisting in weekly check run and credit card payments

· Reconciling company credit card and review for accuracy and completeness

· Backup data entry as required

· Filling out new vendor forms

· Other responsibilities as requested

Skills & Experience:

· Minimum of 2 years working experience in accounting dept

· At least intermediate level Excel skills

· Professional demeanor

· Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

· Well organized, works efficiently and independently

· Resourceful and ability to problem solve
